You ask what is Postal Pals...  if you go to  their webpage:  (http://www.postpals.co.uk/)
You can find out more info,  this is an extract from their main page:
"Post Pals, is a charity helping you to ‘Post a Smile on a Sick Child’s Face’ by the sending of cards, letters, emails and little gifts to seriously ill children and their siblings. It couldn't be easier for anyone of any age to get involved, requires no commitment and costs only a stamp and 5 minutes of your time."

The first Digi image i  received was the one below.
Before i could start I  went to the website and decide who i was going to send my first card to,
I decide to send mine to Anna-Mae C

As Anna-Mae C  favorite colour is Red,
I choose  various shades of Red and Pink to colour the image
Berry Red, Poppy, Lipstick Red,
Carmine, Cerise and Baby Pink.

Once i had coloured the image I looked for papers withe red in them.
I matted the coloured image onto a piece of red card, and also looked for a red card to use as a base.
I then matted the red spotty paper on to the front of the card.
Then added a piece of word paper and the bottom of the card.
To fill the gap at the side i dug out some embellishments.
It still seems a bit bare by the image, so i decided to cut a sentiment out of  red card,
I choose "make a wish"  die from my tonic dies.

Now I just need to write a note to put inside and then i can mail it to her.

I hope you like this card
Why not join us and send cards to these poorly children.

Brown Sugar 23rd may

Over at Brown Sugar Challenges this week our sponsor is

I choose an images of some houses.
I decided it would make a great new home card.

when i had coloured the image it looked a bit "flat",
so i decided to do a squeeze type card.
I then coloured the image again, and this time cut it into three.
I mounted the first image onto a piece if coloured paper.

To colours i used for the image were:
Cyan, Pastel Blue, & Cool Aqua
Grass,  Cool Grey & Cinnamon.

To make the squeeze bit  (Front panel ) I
cut a a piece of card that was a wide as the image plus 6 cms, and 5cms deep.
I scored the ends at 1,2 & 3cms in from each end,
the last bit became the tab to attach to the back of the card.
And cut an extra strip (bar) but only 1 cm at each end, this becomes the bit the bigger of the houses is attached to and is attached to the side bits.

Once i had attached the "squeezey" bit,  I then matted the image on to the back of the card,
The matted some of the matching backing papers to the front panel.
and then stuck the big house to the bar, and the other two to the front, of the card.

I decided it need something else  so i drew a path on to the a piece of card.
I wasn't sure how to colour it etc,  and in the end decided on zen-tangling it.

Hope you like my creation

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog,  please come back again soon

Use twine - Angie's Digi Stamps 21st May

Over at Creative Moments
this week our sponsor is
Angies Digis

I choose:
I choose Octopus with Bows

And the theme is
Use Twine

Again i did two and couldnt decide which one to post, so i posted both!!

The first one i did was with the green garden twine
I wasnt sure what colours to use,  so i decided to zentangle the image
and just colour a few of the spots and the bows,  i coloured both with Apple.
I mounted the image on to a piece of green card and then covered the card with a piece
of coloured Kay & co scrapbook paper.
I painted the twine with PVA and then wrapped it around a brush handle, to get it to twist.
When it was dry i stuck it on with some silicone glue.
To finish i added a sentiment strip.

My second i decided to colour the image with
Grass green and coloured the bows with poppy
I then wrapped a net that came with one of my wigs around it
(for the twine element).
I mounted it on to a piece of blue card and the a piece if pattern blue paper.
To finish it off i added some die cut shells and a sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by
hope you like my creations.
Which one do you prefer ??

Arbymiran

This week at Creative Moments our sponsor is
ArtByMiran

The theme was bingo
we had to choose from the table below:
I choose Flower, Sentiment & more than 2 layers

My image is Miss Daisy
I couldn't decide which colour to do, pink or blue,
so i did both !!

I used the same colours for the skin tones and hair
Satin, Almond & Vanilla
Tan,  Gold & Pastel Yellow

For the "Flowers / Dress" I used
Pearl Blue & China Blue  &
Cerise & Baby Pink

With both images i matted them on a piece of black card.

The flower on the blue card was white, i used a distress ink (storny sky) to colour it
and then used silicone to stick it to the front of the card
and finished the card with a sentiment

For the pink flower i used a pearly brad to join to paper flowers together,
the sentiment was cream,  so i coloured it with Cerise pro-marker.
